Tradition continues to run deep within the PVW.  On Heatwave some of the matches were announced for Tradition V in Mesa, Arizona.  The ticket has become a hard ticket to find as die hard fans are making the trip from Phoenix and Tucson.  PVW released the statement that there wont be an On the Road to go with Tradition.  However PVW superstars will be through out the city signing autographs in the next week.  Check PVW’s website for details to meet your favorite PVW superstar!

The PVW Television Championship title belt chase is starting to heat up.  For End Game to stay with the “Lucky Seven” theme.  A seven contender scramble match will lead off the Preshow.  The winner will take on the PVW Television Champion in the Main Event free on live TV,  A slot that has historically been dedicated to the Television Champion.  The eight men involved will be in action at Tradition in a high paced American Luchadore Rules four on four match!

Hersher von Donkerhardt was treated after the second assault in back-to-back Heatwaves.  Apparently the Misery Machine has placed a bulls-eye on the PVW American Champion’s back.  While Donkerhardt wont be in action at Tradition.  We are getting word that he will in Mesa, Arizona and will respond to Marcus Manson.

On Heatwave there were quite a few wrestlers in Tuscon that are not on the PVW roster.  Apparently Johnny Detson was able to get some clearance for his interviews only minutes before the show went on the air.  Dean Hayes also spent what little free time he had continuing to track down Alex Epstein and set up that live on air interview with the wrestling legend.  However the biggest pop of the night has to be awarded to the superstar formerly known as Tuscon Kid.  The fans were talking about his appearance all night.  PVW is proud to announce that the Arizona Dream’s website took over $20,000.00 in donations last night.  PVW will continue to team up with the Arizona Dream and Peter Howell.

Ohno Ow and Livestock were given an ultimatum to work as PVW tag team champions or be forced to vacate the belts.  With Dr. Mal Practice and The Gutch unable to compete right now that left the two men with little to no choice.  At Tradition V they will team up and defend the PVW tag team titles.

As seen on Heatwave Matthew Willingham was able to find the one thing that would interest Nevermind in signing a competing PVW contract.  So at Tradition V he will making his inring PVW debut.  It’s been quite a few years since Nevermind has wrestled inside the ring.

Rob Cole hasn’t looked like the same Rob Cole since coming back from losing the PVW World Heavyweight Championship.  It appears that William Craven has all but broken the monster underneath the bed.  At Tradition all eyes will be on the Outcast in hopes to see the man we all have grown to either love or love to hate.

Word on the street is that Perry Fontana has finally gone too far.  It seems that the former PVW Network Champion and Tag Team Champion has become a lighting rod for critics as of late.  Between Jack Fontana, his wife, and Tom Landis there isn’t anyone out there who doesn’t enjoy watching him get taken down a notch.  In Mesa, Tom Landis will be one of the most popular wrestler in the back if he can pull out a win.

There is a lot of hype surrounding the state of the PVW tag team division.  With the additions of Hollywood by Night, Arizona Choir Boys, and The Heat.  Those are three legitimate foundation building tag teams.  Becoming and _keeping_ the PVW tag team titles may become one of the most difficult tasks in professional wrestling.

The Prophets of Rage have now been added right in the middle of the Renegades and Los Corazones rivalry.  They took exception to the Corazones sticking their noses and interrupting their match with the Renegades.  The message has been loud and clear that both the Renegades and Corazones will suffer the wrath of the Prophets.

PVW’s Arizona touring schedule to End Game has been released:

Tradition V - Mesa, Arizona

On the Road / Heatwave - Surprise, Arizona

On the Road / Heatwave - Tombstone, Arizona

End Game - Phoenix, Arizona

Ashleigh Winters is in possession of the Mercenary’s Haliburton.  With the issues at hand between Winters and Marshall.  It’s unknown at this time if she will be handing it back to the Mercenary or giving it to her fiance, Chance McKenzie.

Rick Marley has been enjoying the turmoil that the PVW number one contendership has ended up in.  Officially Doc Holliday is the number one contender.  However Gibson Hayes has the resume and hasn’t let up the fight.

The PVW’s Championship committee held a meeting after Heatwave went off the air into the late hours of the night.  We can only assume the topics of discussion included - The PVW Tag Team titles and the team of Ohno Ow and Livestock, von Donkerhardt and his up coming opponent for End Game, and the state of the number one contendership.  It’s unknown what the outcome of any of these topics are.  There was a release with the Tradition V lineup that the state of the number one contendership would be determined.

There will be three more Qualifiers for the Called Shot.  Rumors are circling that the Heatwave before End Game there will be a _Second_ Chance Qualifying match for those who failed to qualify the first time.

SHOW RELEASE ETA: 03-09-11

DEADLINES:  03-16-11

PVW - Tradition V

Mesa, Arizona

In a mixture of American and Luchadore rules.  Eight superstars who have been all wrestling around the chance to be or become the PVW Television Champion step in a End Game Scramble Showcase match.  The team of TOMMY RYDER, ASH, SENOR CLOAK DOS, and SINISTER will take on TYSON CAIN, MIKE BISIGNANO, CHRISTOPHER BLACK, and CHRISTAN COPELAND.

Speaking of showcase and the number four.  The PVW tag team division will have it’s chance to showcase a member of each team in a FOUR CORNERS match.  The four men competing will be; KIP BUTLER of Hollywood by Night, SHADOE RAGE of the Prophets of Rage, DEVIN HOULIHAN of the Renegades, and CORAZON ROJO of the Los Corazones.

DANNY DANIELS asked for a match with CHANCE MCKENZIE after his “sneak attack” in his Called Shot Qualifier on Heatwave.  With the search of the master ninja going on he has recruited DAN FLORES to stand in his corner to ensure he is safe for more sneak attacks.  However will Chance McKenzie be safe from the Mercenary?

THE HEAT steps inside the ring for the FINALS of the HEAT INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT.  Just like each round before there is no release of who their opponents will be.  Could it be two drive thru workers from McDonald's?  What about the Jack Griffin clan?  Perhaps they could round up Los Corazone’s cousins?  Your guess is as good as ours.

ROB COLE finally returns to the ring for the first time since losing the PVW World Heavyweight Championship.  His opponent has been a bit of an enigma himself the past few months.  With his Haliburton in the hands of Ashleigh Winters.  He will be taking on THE MERCENARY. Has Wiiliam Craven broken the monster underneath the bed we all grew to know?

At the end of Heatwave it was announced that NEVERMIND will finally be making his PVW inring debut and tagging with MARCUS MANSON.  Their opponents have finally had enough of both men.  Together they have decided to make a stand.   Can CHRIS HARTT and LARRY GIONET put a stop to both of these monsters?  Or will they continue down both of their paths of destruction?

The PVW TAG TEAM TITLES will be on the line when Arizona’s own, ARIZONA CHOIR BOYS take their back-to-back wins over the Corazone’s and Corazone cousins and step inside the ring with LIVESTOCK and OHNO OW.  At this time it’s unknown how Livestock and Ow will co-exist.  However this is a huge opportunity and spotlight for the Arizona Choir Boys in their home state!

Finally the match that has been in the making for nearly a year.  Two brother in laws … Former PVW tag team champions … Both men with total hatred for one another …  In a match _everybody_ has been waiting for, TOM LANDIS and PERRY FONTANA will finally collide inside a PVW ring on Tradition V!

In a rematch from Rise From the Ashes II.  CALEB FOLEY fought through the Johnny Detson’s challenge and over came all obstacles in his path.  In a TWO out of THREE FALLS stipulation match.  The Celtic Crippler finally has his chance at revenge and good old fashion Irish retribution when he is set to take on the self proclaimed PVW President and CEO, JOHNNY DETSON!

PLUS - The PVW American Champion, Hersher von Donkerhardt will be on hand to answer the repeated attacks by Marcus Manson.  Dean Hayes will continue to get to the bottom of who is paying the Mercenary.  William Craven will be in the arena and have both eyes on Rob Cole.  And finally we expect some sort of announcement regarding the state of the PVW number one contendership.  After Four PVW Tradition’s you know that there always are a few hidden surprises so this is one show you will _NOT_ want to miss.
